I'm really excited to showoff this icon set for you guys! Windbalde is one of my favourite characters in the Transformers franchise and this series is one of my favourites that star her. It's actually the very first one to star her in the IDW Transformers continuity during its first 2009 run and I consider it amazing.

There are four issues over-all and I'll be posting all icon sets from these issues over time. It takes a long, long time to clean up comic panels - I'll show you the progress below! - so I'll be cooking these sets slowly but steadily in the weeks ahead. I hope you enjoy these icons and find use of them. I'm really proud of these ones. ; o ;

The emotional labour of trying to make sure the cropping of the icons doesn't ruin the beautifully designed and lively Transformers panels... It was worth it.

Wow! you really do justice to the artwork in terms of colours and composition! I enjoyed the progress examples at the bottom too.

I'm so glad to hear that! I was fretting so much when I was working on the icons since there was so much detail and colours that I wanted to keep in there but didn't want the set to be too visually busy.

I'm also glad you like the progress examples too! I'll be doing that for comics and animation sets from now on. Maybe live-action if I had to do a lot of editing for them. Look out for them in the future sets of the other issues, which should be up and running next, next week.

I love Windblade so much! Her design, her personality, her ideals and willingness to help people but adapt to her surroundings...! One of my favourite characters from IDW's 2005 TF.

The next sets from the other issues are coming up next, next week! I have two issues left to icon, halfway through the third, and I'm very excited to share it with you all.
